Hint: It’s bloody expensive
Are you excited to get Apple’s shiny new Mac Pro workstation? You better have loads of cash if you plan to get one: Apple’s Philippines website has posted the listing for the new Mac Pro, and the base model will cost you Php 359,990 (monitor not included).
For that price, you get a 3.5GHz 8?core Intel Xeon W processor, 32GB DDR4 ECC RAM, Radeon Pro 580X GPU, 256GB SSD Storage, Magic Mouse, Magic Keyboard, and a standard frame without wheels.
But what if money is no object, and you want a specc’ed out Mac Pro? That will cost you a cool Php 2,723,460—again, display not included.
If you need the Pro Display XDR, that will cost you Php 357,980 for the standard glass version with the Pro Stand (the stand costs Php 57,990—roughly the price of a 256GB iPhone 11). Opt for the nano-texture glass version, and that will balloon up to Php 417,980.
To wrap up, if you want the “basic” Mac Pro setup, you will be spending at least Php 717,970, while going all out will cost your almost Php 3.2 million pesos.
