HALTapresyon is a health intervention package including trainings and seminars on hypertension and self-care management, and an application where residents of Brgy, 183 Pasay City can input their blood pressure and other health information regularly. Students from U.P. Manila, winner in one of the start up contest by a pharmaceutical company.

The competition was Unilab Foundation’s Ideas Positive Run 7 where different youth teams all over the Philippines propose for health intervention in a selected community or area and by the end of the implementation period, compete for the best health outcomes. In the case of our team, we represented NCR out of the other 13 teams representing their own retions. We may have not made it to the top 5 finalists but our team was able to garner the People’s Choice Award with a cash prize of Php 10,000 and placques.
