Jobstreet’s recent report on the top 10 highest paying jobs in the Philippines may just help you assess if you’re paid fairly in the industry you are in based on your experience. For job seekers, this may just lead you to the industry that can potentially earn you big bucks!

With Boracay and Cebu offered to the world, it is no wonder that the top paying industry in the country is travel and tourism at PHP 20,629. If you are thinking of taking up a course, this should be your first choice.

However, if you have graduated in other courses, don’t fret. Here are the rest of the highest paying industries for fresh graduates.

Hurray to the engineers in the oil and gas industry with one to four years of experience. From being on the eighth spot for fresh graduates, the banking and financial services industry, namely accountant, is one of the most in demand jobs in the Philippines.

For supervisors or employees with a minimum of five years of working experience, the top four industries are technology-related occupations such as IT, engineers, database admin and tech support respectively. The rest of the industry in the list, except for microbiology are all business-related.

Managers require both business expertise and management skills, hence, the higher salary scale. The top 10 industries for managers are a mix of technology and business industries.

Going up the hierarchy, the senior managers,who can demand higher salaries, are paid the most in the quality control industry. . It is also interesting to note that Pharmacy was not on any of the above lists, but ranks fourth in senior managerial positions.
