Good news for all Globe subscribers, Spotify is giving you more reasons to stick with Globe.
In a move that’s likely to shake up the burgeoning music-streaming business in the Philippines, Spotify, which launches in the country on April 8, has announced an exclusive partnership with Globe Telecom. Spotify will offer unlimited music access at affordable rates via Globe’s new GoSURF data plans.
Spotify has exclusively partnered with Globe Telecom in offering its 38 million subscribers free access to Spotify thru Globe’s GoSURF data plan beginning April 13. Check out below for the Globe – Spotify GoSURF offerings.
- GoSURF 10 – 10MB data plus Spotify for 24 hrs
- GoSURF 299 – 700MB of data valid for 30 days including Spotify Premium
- GoSURF 999 – 5GB of data plus Spotify Premium
Spotify is already the second-largest source of revenue of digital music revenue for labels in Europe. In addition, the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry cited in a recent report that revenues from music-streaming services saw a significant 51.3 percent increase in 2013.
