Sony finally launches the Sony PlayStation 4 in the Philippines.
The basic package (console + controller) costs Php24,999, and an additional two grand will get you a PS Camera along with the PS4. You can also opt for a console + game bundle and choose between Killzone: Shadow Fall (Php26,899) or Battlefield 4 (Php27,399).
Sony also unveiled a host of PS peripherals including Dual Shock 4 controllers, a Dual Shock Charging Station and a PS4 Vertical Stand. The PS4 controllers are available for P3,399 and come in Magma Red and Wave Blue aside from the standard black.
The DUALSHOCK 4 controller has a capacitive touch pad which allows you to click, drag and drop, flick and do multi-touch inputs. It has a light bar that sends game info to the console and is also used by the PlayStation camera to track movements and position.
Limited stocks are allocated to the Philippine market, but units should still be available at Sony Centers in Metro Manila, Pampanga, Cebu, Davao and Cagayan De Oro.
