Almost everyone travels everyday, either going to work or to school. There is always that fear of “hold up” when commuting especially this Christmas season. Apparently ABS-CBN just released a new public service app called “Pasahero”.
So what is Pasahero all about?
PASAHERO: A Passenger Safety App. This mobile app protects the user by broadcasting trip details to social media and, through the panic button, send exact location and emergency messages to a trusted circle of contact and to relevant agencies for assistance.
How to use:
- Sign up with your social media account
- Before you start commuting input the details of your transportation (plate no., taxi franchise, etc)
- Select start trip and it will automatically record your whole trip
- After a successful trip, you will have a summary showing you details of your trip
Now in case of an emergency, there is red button below. Press and hold for around 3-5 seconds and it will immediately send out a SMS message to your emergency contacts.
The app is straight forward to use and I haven’t found any similar apps to “pasahero”.
