MMDA is one of the government agencies that I am impressed with in terms of using technology. Their Twitter account and MMDA mobile app is one of the more popular projects they made. Now they are launching a livestream feed of selected locations.
“With the fast changing technology nowadays, Traffic Mirror is MMDA’s latest offering to every motorist and commuter who wants to plan their trip ahead and avoid the inconvenience brought about by heavy traffic,” MMDA Chairman Francis Tolentino, during the launch.
The MMDA Traffic Mirror can be accessed at http://MMDA.NowPlanet.TV for free 24/7, and can be viewed from any PC, smartphone, or tablet device. It’s basically using Ustream platform for their live feed, which is actually reliable for online streaming.
