10 things you might now know about Steve Jobs
1. Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak met back in 1969. Their very first creation was the “blue box”. They were able to “hack” the telephone line by creating an exact copy of the telephone tone and make free international calls.

3. After his resignation in Apple back in 1985, he started a new company called “NeXT”, a computer platform development company specializing in the higher-education and business markets. This was eventually acquired by Apple, which gave way for Steve Jobs to regain the position of Apple’s CEO.
4. He purchased an animation company from George Lucas, which later became Pixar Animation Studios. Believing in Pixar’s potential, Jobs initially invested $50 million of his own money into the company.
5. In early 1979, Steve decided he would launch his own distinctive project, a computer whose success, unlike the Apple II, could not be attributed to Woz’s great talent. He decided to call it LISA. The name that Steve chose was not innocent: it was the name he and his ex girlfriend Chris-Ann Brennan had picked one year earlier for the he would not recognize as his own before a few more years.
6. Steve has a biological sister, Mona Simpson. She is as intellectually capable as Steve Jobs being an author and an English professor.

8. Steve Jobs never had a license plate for his Mercedes Benz. It turns out there’s a provision in California regulations that give one six months to get license plates for a new car, and Jobs took advantage of it. Yes, he leased a silver Mercedes SL55 AMG, said Callas — and every six months he traded it in for a new one.
9. Steve Jobs was not fired from Apple, he resigned. When Steve Jobs and John Sculley started to have conflicts Steve asked the board of Directors to vote between Steve and John. Unfortunately for Steve the board voted for John Sculley. Steve was so disappointed with the decision that he immediately resigned and sold all his Apple shares.
10. His real parents were probably not ready to take the responsibilities of a parent and hence they gave Steve away to other people.
