Remember Viber? Viber is an app that offer free calls and text messages to other Viber users. It’s basically using the power of the cloud and not the telecom network. Many thought that this app might not be ready yet since it will heavily rely on the mobile internet, and with 3G, 4G and LTE still catching up this app won’t be able to be make it to mainstream yet.
But recently Viber jumped from 50 million users to 70 million users early this year. Not only that but they also released a version for Windows and BlackBerry platform plus additional features like photo and location sharing capabilities.
This app is very useful but we might have to wait more time to have the advancements in the mobile internet. With lower data plans and faster internet speed, this will definitely be a big hit!
