Converge ICT Solutions, Inc. has teamed up with Starlink to deliver satellite-based connectivity to remote areas. As an authorized reseller, Converge will handle everything from installation to network management and maintenance. This collaboration aims to enhance connectivity for businesses and government agencies in remote locations, including sectors like agriculture, retail, fisheries, and more.
Converge CEO Dennis Anthony Uy emphasized the service’s importance for industries such as construction, mining, and hospitality, particularly during disasters. The partnership is expected to increase Converge’s enterprise segment by 5-10% this year.
Additionally, Converge has partnered with Ribbon Communications to enhance internet services in the Philippines using AI-enabled data transmission technology. This initiative aims to create a robust, high-capacity fiber optic network across the country.
The US Embassy in the Philippines welcomed these partnerships, noting that they could attract more American investments, especially in the defense and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) sectors.
